'The work I've seen there in the past 12 months has included two of the best things I have seen anywhere this past year....Don DeLillo's satire on celebrity culture and the hollowness at the heart of the modern media, VALPARAISO. Other venues might be bigger and better ventilated but few have offered such mind-expanding work or afforded such bracing breaths of fresh air.'

Dominic Cavendish in The Daily Telegraph on the Old Red Lion winning the Pub Theatre Award at the 17th Empty Space / Peter Brook Awards, 2006.

'For a young writer, Weaver Hughes Ensemble is where you want to be working'
FirstAct Magazine

Weaver Hughes Ensemble at present receives no core funding to support its work and the day-to-day running of the company. Each production is funded based on its individual requirements and budget.

There are two ways that you can assist the company, who are building a reputation for creating astonishing theatre not only in London but also across the UK and internationally -

Donations and Sponsorship

Donations and sponsorship support the work and ideals of Weaver Hughes Ensemble. Previous supporters of the company have included companies such as Tancroft Communications, The Unity Theatre Trust, The Big Boost, The Peter Wolff Theatre Trust and The Royal Victoria Foundation, alongside many anonymous donors.

As the company continues building a sense of recognition from funding bodies and various organisations around the country, a greater level of support is required.

Join us to be inspired and to create the best new work both here and abroad.

You can make a donation to us by clicking on the Donate Online button or via Justgiving.com - you can also speak to Timothy Hughes on 020 8291 0514 if you require more information or to discuss a sponsorship proposal.
