'Stephen Chance is mesmerising as Michael, his cheeks seeming to grow hollow with despair before your eyes. And the cast, in Jack McNamara's production for Weaver Hughes Ensemble, handles De Lillo's edgy, deadpan style with great assurance and flair, managing in this tiny pub venue to create a snappy, funny, deeply disturbing evening.'
Financial Times

'Extremely entertaining UK premiere...an energised and alert reading of DeLillo's philosophically rigorous and scalpel-sharp dialogue...superbly cast and played... an ultimately enlivening evening'
Time Out Critics' Choice

'Under the slick action there's an increasing unease that turns amateur celebrity into personal alienation, and which JackMcNamara's cast catch in this fine British premiere.'
Reviewsgate.com

'One of the wittiest, most trenchant pieces of writing about the information age so far penned for the theatre...this British premiere of a 1999 play by American author Don DeLillo is worth beating a path to.'
