The Importance of Shoes
by James Johnson

"Bring me bad shoes and I'll cry."

Vanessa is addicted. Marise collects. Sebastian sells, Dyaln trells people to stop. In a world where new shoes are a new you, where the country you are from marks you as undesirable, and chatting to a stranger can lead to rape, four lives revolve around a story of passion, seduction, infidelity and some amazing shoes.
